With nearly 30 years in the tea industry, we have had the good fortune to travel to most of the major tea producing countries of the world in our quest for fine teas. Making friends with tea farmers and suppliers over such a long time allows us the unique position of sourcing our teas directly from their origin, maintaining quality and freshness.

In combination with local botanicals and flavors, Tortuga Tea’s signature blends offer the tea lover a hand-crafted selection of delicious teas that reflect the bounty of the bio- and culturally diverse Yucatan peninsula.

Of course, with our history in premium teas, we can’t resist sharing some of the best pure teas the world has to offer. We also carry a number of tea ware pieces and accessories to help you enjoy your tea to the fullest.

Tortuga Tea was inspired by and is located in the sea-turtle nesting area of the Mexican Riviera Maya. In addition to our line of fine teas, we also offer world class tea education and training classes at all levels and host tea retreats at our “oasis in the jungle”, Villa Tortugas in Akumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
